Andrew Janney

Meet Andrew Janney, a towering giant of a man with a toothpick in one hand and a laptop in the other. His days are not ruled by the calendar or the clock but by the climate and the seasons. His new rendezvous finds him at VisionFoundry with the summer hunt promising to be his most profitable, with proposals, still having their winter thickness.

I was born in the wrong era, says Janney, who served as the booshway for Fedsources, a job that brought him face to face with death on a regular basis sometimes through slow agony of starvation, dehydration, burning heat, or by the surprise attack of the upper management.

Disclaimer: The legends and feats of the mountain man Janney persists largely in his own mind. No animals were harmed or eaten in the writing of this bio.

Mark McDonough

Quality Assurance Manager:

Upon entering the IT industry, Mark followed the well-worn path from quality assurance to programming. However, he soon realized that quality assurance (QA) was his true calling.

Mark's approach to software testing emphasizes clear communication to ensure the desired results are achieved. He is actively involved in the requirements-gathering phase of projects, and matches test cases to rigorous and detailed "plain English" use cases.

Mark strongly believes the best requirements and the best testing converge when all stakeholders can easily understand what is being specified and how the software will support real world business processes.

As an experienced classroom teacher with a M.Ed. from Harvard, and a software trainer with years of experience in training and training management, Mark is also VisionFoundry's chief trainer.

Robyne Edley Kenton

Managing Director -

Robyne developed her first online system back in 1986. Working at the national Association of Home Builders (NAHB), she designed a proprietary online system for the NAHB leadership - first on The source, then CompuServe and, in the mid-90s, on the Internet.

Nowadays Robyne plays a key technical role in each VisionFoundry project and focuses the team on UI design, usability, information architecture, and taxonomy development. She has designed dozens of enterprise portals, corporate intranets, e-commerce sites, and finger-operated touch screen UIs for corporate, not-for-profit and government clients.

In addition to her portal experience, Robyne is also an experienced e-commerce designer. She has an enviable track record for improving conversion rates for not-for-profit bookstores - increasing sales 100-fold through improved usability, organic search engine optimization (SEO), and integration with backend enterprise databases.
